Axiom and LegalWorks launch strategic collaboration to bring Axiom’s legal services to the Nordics

LegalWorks Nordic and Axiom announced today that they have entered into a strategic collaboration to service customers in the Nordic region, bringing Axiom’s best-in-class, technology-enabled legal solutions to leading companies in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

Axiom is the world’s leading alternative legal services provider with over 2,000+ employees across three continents. The company’s proven solutions, including their GDPR Contracts Compliance Solution and M&A due diligence capabilities, used across the Fortune 500, bring powerful new legal offerings to the region. Today’s geographic expansion into the Nordics builds on Axiom’s established presence in Europe, with hundreds of employees in London, Belfast, Frankfurt, Zurich and Wroclaw.

LegalWorks is an alternative legal services provider headquartered in Stockholm, supporting clients in the Nordic region with legal resources, recruitment, advisory- and legal operations services.

“The cooperation enables us to combine our GDPR services with Axiom’s GDPR Contracts Compliance Solution to assess and remediate large volumes of contracts. This will be the next wave of GDPR compliance and Axiom’s unique capability is a perfect match to our offer.  In addition, we will be able to work with Axiom and our clients in the Nordics to uncover deal synergies and accelerate integration by using Axiom’s M&A Due Diligence process and AI capabilities”, said Leif Frykman, co-founder and leading LegalWorks legal operations franchise.

“I look forward to collaborating on the talent platform whereby legal professionals in the Nordics get the chance to work both the Axiom and the LegalWorks way. A great opportunity for professional growth” said Anna Lensmar-Friedman, CEO of LegalWorks Nordic AB.

“We’re confident that the local market knowledge, relationships, and legal talent as brought by LegalWorks, combined with Axiom’s purpose-built processes, technology and access to projects-based delivery capacity through our Legal Services Centers of Excellence, will provide Nordic clients fresh and innovative solutions,” said Sandra Devine, Managing Director of Axiom Europe.  “We’re thrilled to name LegalWorks as our first partner in the Nordic region, drawing on our shared vision for the future of legal services and the opportunity for tech-enabled solutions like Axiom’s to deliver work more efficiently, effectively and at scale.
