New talents joining LegalWorks

LegalWorks and LWA are expanding and have recruited two new lawyers to join the LWA team in our mission to keep delivering the highest quality legal advice in the Nordics.

“As we want to offer new areas of expertise, it’s only natural for us to keep expanding and therefor also increase our offer,” says Martin Johansson, COO of LWA. “We’re in a growth phase, with main focus on areas such as IP law consulting, med tech and developing our new platform LegalBuddy and other technical law projects.”

The two new lawyers are Julia Isaksson and Pernilla Blomqvist.

Julia Isaksson is fresh from law school to LWA (but already having commercial law experience from previous work), and will join the LWA team by the end of January. She will support in LWA’s regular advisory business, and will have the possibility to develop within the legal areas she has the strongest interest in.

“I was drawn to LWA because of their innovative approach to legal work”, says Julia Isaksson. “I know that similar agile methods and ways of working are common in for example the IT industry, but I don’t know any other law firms that focus on this way of working.”

Pernilla Blomqvist has previously been working as a legal counsel, at a law firm as well as a consultancy agency. She has joined LWA to primarily work on the LegalBuddy project, meant to launch in the beginning of March 2020.

“It’s really fun to have joined such a digital player in the legal business, and I feel really excited to be part of the creation and development of a whole new-way-of-thinking legal platform,” says Pernilla Blomqvist. “LegalBuddy is pioneering in many ways, with it being an innovative tool to help gap the bridge between law and business. I’m really looking forward to the launch in March, it will be great.”

“We are extremely proud and happy to welcome Julia and Pernilla to the team. We are committed to the development of all employees, and dedicated to provide a workplace making them achieve their goals, both as employees (as part of a team) and individuals,” says Martin Johansson.
