ALTNordic (a collaboration between Experticon ApS in Denmark, Laissa Oy in Finland, IBF Legal AS in Norway and Legal Works Nordic A) has now released the Nordic General Counsel Report for 2019.
This is the third year we distributed the survey and report and this year’s respondents work in sectors ranging from financial services to the energy sector. “This is the first year we notice that the implementation and use of tech tools within the legal team has decreased. As a New Law provider, we expected the result to be the opposite” says Emma Lilja Sjödin, co-author of the report.
“The up-front cost that the implementation of a new tech tool result in may affect the decrease of implementation that we see” says Ulf Lindén, COO of LegalWorks. Alexandra Waldersten, Head of Marketing and Communications adds “the GCs seem to be busier than ever, and the report clearly shows how complex it is to manage change in the legal departments.”
