On October 14, 2015, the first event in the Nordics addressing tech tools for in-house counsels took place. Around 70 persons attended the event, including 11 leading suppliers of tech tools in the areas of contract management, corporate governance and compliance.

The meeting was opened by the key note speaker Jörgen Heilborn, Vice General Counsel of Ericsson, who described how Ericsson is looking into different support systems to increase productivity and quality and that all solutions are vetted against “quality, costs and efficiency”.

Later during the day there was an e-Signing panel moderated by Leif Frykman who discussed the status of the e-signing market in Sweden. All vendors confirmed that there is a significant uptake in the market the last year and they all foresaw dramatic changes on how businesses conclude contracts in the future.

“While this event was the first of its kind in the Nordics it will definitely not be the last. We got very positive feedback both from attending vendors and the legal counsels and LegalWork plan to do a follow up event next year.“ says Leif Frykman, co-founder of LegalWorks.
